Diffusion of Copper (II) Sulphate

Question

A crystal of copper (II) sulphate was placed in a beaker of water. The beaker was left standing for two days without shaking. State and explain the observations that were made.

Answer

The crystal dissolved. Blue colour spreads in water. The crystal broke up into smaller particles of copper (ii) sulphate and diffused in all directions
