Parliamentary Electoral Process in Kenya
- In Kenya,elections are held after every five years.
- At the end of every five years,parliament stands dissolved.
- The speaker declares all seats vacant.

- After the nominations,campaigns begin officially.

How one may lose a parliamentary seat
According to the Constitution, one can lose his or her parliamentary seat through the following ways;- When one is jailed for more than six months.
- When one resigns from the post.
- If one is declared bankrupt or is unable to pay his or her debts.
- If an election petition is filed against him or her.
- If one fails to attend eight consecutive sittings in parliament.
